Organization and history of Muys Reizen

Muys reizen exists since 1926. With a horse carriage Adriaan Muys began to work in St.Willibrord, a village in the south of The Netherlands. Doing so, he became the founder of Muys Reizen in Rucphen, close to the Belgian border. At first, he focused mainly on the transport of goods, but he soon realized that passengers travel would increase enormously.

His first coach was a converted truck that transported workers from afar to factories in the city or the coal mines. Since then a lot has changed …

The sole proprietorship has grown into a large firm. Horse and carriage have been replaced by a fleet of over 40 modern coaches. Since 1981 Muys Reizen resides in Rucphen. We also have an office in Essen, Belgium. At present we have service technicians on staff who ensure that every bus remains in optimum condition, every day.
